Partners Group seeks a Quantitative Risk Manager in Zug to lead investment risk modeling and scenario analysis for private markets within a collaborative, global team.

This position sits within the Quantitative & Risk Management business unit, specifically supporting the Investment Risk Management team based in Zug. The team serves as the firm’s quantitative experts, focusing on high-complexity risk areas and portfolio management activities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc scenario analyses using private markets data.
  • Build, update, and refine proprietary quantitative models for private markets.
  • Create and deliver presentations and submissions for internal committees and senior management.
  • Maintain and improve firm-wide private markets modeling systems.
  • Generate risk reports and analytical insights for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Propose and implement new ideas to enhance risk methodologies and decision-support frameworks.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Quantitative Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Four to six years of professional experience in risk management, covering either public or private markets.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with programming tools such as Python and SQL, alongside advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Professional certifications like the CFA or FRM designation.
