The Centre for Pathogen Bioinformatics provides a premier research setting for early-career scientists in the Basel region. Responsibilities

  • Lead independent research projects within the field of pathogen bioinformatics.
  • Collaborate actively with internal center groups and external international partners.
  • Help translate scientific findings into practical tools for public health applications.
  • Contribute to teaching, supervision, and outreach efforts, including guiding Master’s students.
  • Work closely with all research groups within the Center to foster interdisciplinary exchange.

  • Hold a PhD degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
