Restaurant Manager for Le Grand Hall (m/f/d)

Badrutts Palace Hotel St. Moritz seeks a Restaurant Manager to lead operations at Le Grand Hall, an iconic all-day dining venue. This contract role focuses on team leadership, guest experience, and operational excellence in a luxury setting.

The company is looking for a leader to take operational responsibility for Le Grand Hall, a signature all-day dining venue and lounge. In this position, you will guide the service team to deliver exceptional hospitality while managing the daily flow and standards of one of the hotel's most prominent locations.

Responsibilities

• Directing the service staff within Le Grand Hall.
• Overseeing daily restaurant activities, such as seating arrangements and managing guest traffic.
• Delivering personalized service to create lasting positive impressions for visitors.
• Collaborating with the Executive Chef and bar staff to uphold high standards in food presentation and service quality.
• Handling recruitment, training, and ongoing management of the service department.
• Coordinating with the Events team to ensure flawless execution of private functions and special events.
• Assisting management with financial duties, including budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and operational reporting.

Requirements

• Several years of management experience in a five-star hotel or luxury restaurant setting.
• Prior experience in a Restaurant Manager or similar leadership capacity is preferred.
• Proven ability to motivate, inspire, and develop team members.
• A polished, service-oriented demeanor with strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating tailored guest experiences.
• Strong organizational capabilities, commercial awareness, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
