Artifactsa, based in Zürich Oerlikon, seeks a Senior AI Engineer / Consultant to develop and deliver practical AI solutions for clients in German- and French-speaking Switzerland. The role requires 5+ years in (Gen)AI and Data Science, fluency in Python and key tools, and strong communication in English plus German or French. Responsibilities
- Create and deploy practical AI solutions using modern technologies, customized to client needs and business goals
- Use AI and client data to solve real business challenges and deliver measurable results
- Collaborate in agile teams across all project stages — from proposal input to solution deployment and business development support
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Support Artifactsa’s growth by developing internal assets and driving initiatives that advance company objectives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in (Gen)AI and Data Science, with deep knowledge of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision
- Strong proficiency in Python, along with experience in Git, SQL, DevOps, and MLOps practices
- Familiarity with analytics libraries and tools such as NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Spark
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and scaling analytics systems in production on cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Excellent communication skills in English and either German or French
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and hold a valid work permit for Switzerland
- Intent to start employment within 3 months of application
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker, APIs, backend/frontend development, and microservices architectures
- Enjoyment in client interaction and relationship-building
- Prior experience in consulting
- Frontend development skills, such as React
- Full-stack engineering experience
