The tutti.ch and anibis.ch Backend Team is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their product-focused, SCRUM-based teams. These teams are structured around specific domains and include Backend Engineers, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, Designers, and Frontend developers. Engineers are responsible for the full lifecycle of backend services, from design to monitoring, and collaborate closely with Platform and Data teams. The services run on AWS with Kubernetes, supporting daily deployments to over 300k users.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and monitor backend services using Go.
- Participate in SCRUM-based product teams aligned with business streams.
- Collaborate with Platform (infrastructure) and Data (BI) teams.
- Support daily deployments to a user base exceeding 300,000.
- Maintain high test coverage using tools such as Testify.
- Perform code reviews and deploy directly from GitHub.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Golang and other strongly typed languages in complex environments, including building and delivering web services.
- At least 5 years of experience making high-impact technical decisions and driving project outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with strongly typed languages in complex, service-oriented settings.
