The company seeks a senior engineer to create AI-driven algorithms and data solutions for medtech and digital health projects. The position involves improving patient monitoring, treatment strategies, and decision support systems while collaborating with industry and clinical partners.

Responsibilities

• Create real-time embedded algorithms and deep learning models for biomedical applications.
• Gather data via pilot studies and clinical trials.
• Conduct verification tasks for developed systems.
• Draft documentation to align software design with internal standards.
• Lead and coordinate signal processing work for junior engineers.
• Identify potential clients, manage intellectual property matters, and update technology surveys.
• Oversee research and industrial projects related to optical blood pressure, brain, and cardiac monitoring.
• Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements for algorithms and systems.
• Support quality system maintenance to ensure compliance with regulations like ISO 13485.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Engineering.
• Demonstrated expertise in real-time embedded signal processing and ML/DNN solutions.
• Fluency in English, plus French and/or German.

Nice to have

• Background in proposal writing and securing research or industrial grants, alongside a strong professional network.
• Experience directing multi-disciplinary research or industrial initiatives.
• Familiarity with medical device development, specifically ISO 13485, IEC 60601-1, and IEC 62304.
• Proficiency in an additional language.
