The company is looking for a leader to oversee the operational performance of the Cardiac Rhythm Management support team across Switzerland. This position aims to streamline field operations, handle technical and administrative duties, and allow the sales team to focus on driving business expansion while maintaining high industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Directs the Swiss Cardiac Rhythm Management support team, including inventory and PCS leads, under the Country Cardiac Rhythm Management Lead.
- Guarantees high standards in clinical, logistical, and digital support to boost field efficiency and reduce administrative burdens on sales staff.
- Acts as the link between service operations and commercial teams, aligning daily activities with the national Cardiac Rhythm Management strategy.
- Plans and optimizes resource distribution across territories, balancing on-site and remote support for technical consultants and service staff.
- Collaborates with the Inventory Lead to manage stock levels, reduce waste and urgent orders, and ensure material availability for critical procedures.
- Works with Sales Managers and Customer Service to monitor performance, segment accounts, and tailor support models for optimal results.
- Organizes training programs for customers and new hires, including train-the-trainer initiatives, and ensures adequate coverage during new product launches.
- Oversees failure analysis and troubleshooting activities, ensuring high-quality execution in partnership with the Marketing Failure Analysis Lead.
- Develops team expertise in products and therapies, promoting the use of digital tools and monitoring patient migration to remote platforms like CareLink.
- Provides service and technical consultant oversight for clinical studies, including planning and allocating resources for study-related tasks.
Requirements
- A degree in biomedical engineering, life sciences, nursing, or a related discipline, combined with significant experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management or similar clinical support roles.
- Demonstrated history of leading teams or senior individual contributors within clinical, service, or operational settings.
- Strong capabilities in planning, prioritization, and resource management, with a focus on processes and key performance indicators.
- Experience working closely with sales and commercial teams, preferably within the medical technology or healthcare sector.
- Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external partners.
- Fluency in English and at least one major Swiss language, such as German or French.
