Senior Data & BI Business Analyst (Finance)

Visium SA seeks a Senior Data & BI Business Analyst in Lausanne to translate finance challenges into structured AI-driven analytics solutions.

Visium SA operates at the intersection of strategy, technical consultancy, and product development, focusing on deploying AI-native systems that transform business operations. This position is dedicated to delivering productized AI solutions rather than isolated fixes, requiring the analyst to bridge the gap between complex financial business needs and robust technical implementations.

Responsibilities

• Identify financial business challenges and convert them into clear, structured functional requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather, analyze, and prioritize needs, resulting in detailed functional specifications for BI and Analytics tools.
• Collaborate with Data and Analytics Engineers to define data models and business objects using dimensional modeling techniques.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation processes to ensure all business requirements are satisfied during delivery.
• Maintain high standards for data governance, business rules, documentation, and data quality while promoting the adoption of BI best practices among users.

Requirements

• At least six years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Business Analysis.
• Proven track record working on Finance-related projects is required.
• Hands-on experience with modern analytics ecosystems, including Power BI, Databricks, dbt, or similar cloud data platforms.
• Solid grasp of dimensional data modeling and familiarity with BI semantic models and analytical reporting tools.
• Fluent proficiency in French is mandatory, alongside a strong professional command of English.
• Residence in or ability to commute to the Lausanne office on-site starting in September.
