Senior Data & BI Business Analyst (Industrial / Supply Chain)

Visium SA seeks a Senior Data & BI Business Analyst in Lausanne to bridge industrial supply chain challenges with AI-driven analytics solutions.

The company integrates strategy, advanced AI, and regulated-industry expertise to deploy AI-native systems that transform business operations. This role focuses on delivering productized AI solutions that generate compounding value, rather than offering isolated point solutions or marginal improvements.

Responsibilities

• Translate industrial and supply chain business challenges into structured functional requirements.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops to gather, analyze, and prioritize needs, then create detailed functional specifications for BI and Analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with Data and Analytics Engineers to define data models and business objects, utilizing dimensional modeling techniques such as star schemas, facts, dimensions, KPIs, and semantic models.
• Assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation to ensure business requirements are fully met during the delivery phase.
• Maintain data governance, business rules, documentation, and data-quality standards while promoting the adoption of BI and Data best practices among users.

Requirements

• At least six years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Business Analysis.
• Proven track record working on Industrial, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing projects.
• Hands-on experience with modern analytics tools including Power BI, Databricks, dbt, or cloud data platforms.
• Solid understanding of dimensional data modeling, BI semantic models, and analytical reporting platforms.
• Fluent proficiency in French is mandatory.
• Good professional command of English.
• Residence in or ability to work on-site in Barcelona starting in September.
