Senior DevOps Platform Engineer (80-100%)

TWINT AG seeks a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to manage core infrastructure, ensure platform security, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in a hybrid role based in Bern or Zurich.

The company is looking for an experienced engineer to build and maintain the foundational infrastructure supporting all TWINT applications. This position involves collaborating with partners to guarantee system resilience, managing critical security components like secrets and access controls, and overseeing the complex interactions between various backends, mobile apps, and external financial connections.

Responsibilities

• Designing, refining, and maintaining build pipelines, configurations, and related tools.
• Improving cooperation between development and operations teams to boost software quality and efficiency.
• Guiding and mentoring the team on DevSecOps methodologies and best practices.
• Integrating security standards into both infrastructure setups and development workflows.
• Managing end-to-end security measures, including secrets, PKIs, and access controls.
• Overseeing the integration of a complex product ecosystem involving multiple backends, mobile applications, websites, and connections to financial institutions and retailers.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science with a focus on software engineering, or equivalent professional education.
• At least five years of hands-on experience in software engineering within complex business and technical environments.
• Deep practical expertise with Kubernetes, including the design, deployment, and operation of production-grade clusters.
• Strong proficiency with HashiCorp Vault for managing secrets and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Experience using Customer IAM tools such as Keycloak or Nevis for authentication and authorization.
• Practical knowledge of Azure or similar cloud providers, including Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Very good command of the English language.
