Senior Lead - Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB)

On seeks a Senior Lead for DEIB in Zürich to drive regional strategy, support inclusion groups, and ensure equitable hiring practices across EMEA.

This position serves as the central figure for Diversity and Inclusion within the EMEA region, reporting directly to the global Director of DEIB & Social Impact. The role is responsible for shaping and executing regional strategies that align with global objectives while adapting to local cultural and regulatory contexts. The incumbent acts as a key advocate for inclusion, supporting employee resource groups and fostering a workplace culture rooted in equity and belonging.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the regional D&I strategy for EMEA, ensuring it aligns with global goals while respecting local needs and legal frameworks.
• Lead and support global Inclusion Groups by providing structural guidance, resources, and ongoing advocacy.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to create, launch, and evaluate diversity hiring programs and manage relevant community partnerships.
• Coach and train organizational leaders to enhance their inclusive leadership capabilities.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert by creating toolkits, resources, and best practices for D&I.
• Define and track metrics to assess the effectiveness of D&I initiatives, analyzing data to report progress to senior leadership.
• Curate regional insights, data, and narratives for the Diversity and Inclusion section of the company’s annual Impact Progress Report.

Requirements

• Seven to ten or more years of professional experience in diversity and inclusion, with a demonstrated history of leading initiatives across the EMEA region.
• Proven experience managing, scaling, or supporting employee resource groups (ERGs) or similar inclusion networks.
• Strong background in working with recruitment teams to design and execute successful diversity hiring strategies.
• Comprehensive understanding of the cultural nuances, challenges, and legal landscapes regarding D&I in EMEA, APAC, and the Americas.
• Ability to leverage data and metrics to drive accountability among leaders and measure the tangible impact of programs.
• A collaborative approach with the ability to lead cross-functional projects and navigate ambiguous situations effectively.
• Self-driven mindset with the ability to proactively generate ideas, secure stakeholder buy-in, and execute tasks hands-on.
