Senior Product Manager (ShelfView)

Scandit seeks a Senior Product Manager for ShelfView in Zurich. This role drives the strategy for turning store imagery into digital twins, bridging UX, mobile engineering, and computer vision.

The company develops technology that automates business workflows and delivers actionable insights across multiple industries. This position centers on the ShelfView Capture product, which converts images and video into a digital representation of retail spaces. The role operates at the convergence of user experience design, mobile engineering, and computer vision technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and roadmap for acquiring shelf data through ShelfView.
  • Collaborate with customers and field teams to understand capture environments and translate these insights into product requirements.
  • Lead the capture roadmap to ensure high throughput, coverage, and quality while managing costs.
  • Enhance the capture experience by improving video capture capabilities and AR guidance features.
  • Manage the tasking and scheduling of capture work.
  • Oversee store onboarding and modeling processes, including mapping, planograms, and catalogs.
  • Establish capture quality standards, product metrics, and telemetry, and conduct experiments.
  • Partner with design, mobile engineering, and computer vision teams to evaluate emerging technologies.
  • Advance non-mobile and hybrid capture methods using fixed cameras, robots, and other new technologies.
  • Coordinate feature launches with product marketing and sales operations.

Requirements

  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • At least six years of product management experience in Deep Tech or mobile SaaS, or equivalent leadership experience in a startup.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Switzerland.
  • Residence within a commutable distance of the Zurich office.

Nice to have

  • Experience with mobile applications, AR use-cases, or on-device machine learning.
  • Willingness to visit customers in Europe and North America occasionally.
