Senior Product Operations Manager - Payments

Perk Yokoy seeks a Senior Product Operations Manager for its Payments group in Switzerland. The role focuses on operational excellence, risk mitigation, and process optimization within a hybrid work model.

This position sits within the Payments group, a team dedicated to ensuring that financial transactions remain secure, scalable, and seamless. The role is responsible for leading operational excellence initiatives across the Payments product area, addressing systemic challenges that affect multiple squads, and supporting complex flows related to money movement, settlement, and billing.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence by developing frameworks and solving systemic issues across the Payments product area.
• Leverage advanced data analysis and AI technologies to spot inefficiencies and implement automation solutions.
• Align internal operational demands with broader business goals to maintain a high-quality end-user experience.
• Identify and reduce risks related to operations, security, finance, and compliance through close collaboration with Legal and Security departments.
• Manage rapid response efforts during operational crises.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

Requirements

• Typically five or more years of experience in technology-driven operations roles.
• Strong proficiency with advanced data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to design, optimize, and visualize complex end-to-end processes, including wireframing and user flow mapping.
• Comfortable navigating complex regulatory landscapes and identifying potential financial or operational risks.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and prioritize requests based on clear criteria.
• Skill in translating complex operational narratives into clear, structured communications.
• Must reside within commuting distance of company hubs and be available to work in the office three days per week.

• Prior experience working in the Payments or Fintech industry.
