This position sits within the Financial Platform team, where the primary objective is to construct systems that guarantee financial data accuracy, traceability, and audit readiness. The engineer will concentrate on developing reliable, automated reconciliation and reporting tools capable of operating at scale. A key part of the role involves deciphering intricate business logic embedded within ERP integrations to ensure transactions are represented correctly.
Responsibilities
- Create robust solutions that enhance the integrity and transparency of financial infrastructure.
- Extend the platform's capabilities to handle increasingly complex financial workflows.
- Decipher and implement complex business logic across ERP integrations to ensure accurate transaction representation.
- Contribute to squad quarterly goals and long-term vision by refining project scope and rationale.
- Draft design documents for significant platform changes and manage technical debt.
- Communicate complex technical concepts across multiple teams to drive organizational alignment.
- Mentor less experienced colleagues through direct guidance and constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Translate complex business goals into technical roadmaps.
- Experience architecting scalable, evolvable systems and data models.
- Ability to define and uphold engineering excellence, including CI/CD optimizations and testing strategies.
- Establishes frontend architecture patterns, including state management and performance budgets.
- Engineers sophisticated backend solutions involving API versioning, caching strategies, and complex data migration plans.
- Leads observability and SRE practices, defining SLOs and managing incident responses.
- Oversees operational security, including secrets hygiene and dependency risk management.
- Must be based within commuting distance of a Perk hub due to IRL-first work model.
