IQVIA AG seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead .NET development within its R&D department, focusing on technical design, code quality, and mentoring junior staff for US healthcare applications.

Positioned within the Research & Development department, this role is responsible for designing robust technical solutions that align with business needs. The engineer oversees the full development lifecycle, ensuring strict compliance with US Healthcare application standards while guiding the team through complex technical challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain code that adheres to industry standards.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve software defects to ensure system stability.
  • Analyze and interpret software requirements to guide development efforts.
  • Create and execute unit tests to verify code functionality.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Produce and review technical documentation for clarity and accuracy.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior software engineers in their professional growth.
  • Continuously refine and improve software development processes and practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least four years of hands-on experience with the .NET Framework.
  • Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Proficiency in applying design patterns to solve complex problems.
  • Familiarity with concurrent programming techniques.
  • Experience with ORM tools such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
  • Competent in JavaScript development.
  • Solid background in relational databases and schema design.
  • Practical experience with .NET MVC, ASP.NET, VB.NET, HTML5, CSS, and .NET Core.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and fix issues efficiently.
  • Knowledge of version control software for source code management.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Blazor framework.
  • Prior work in the healthcare domain.
  • Background in building large, highly scalable applications.
  • Experience designing or working with RESTful APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Understanding of transport protocols including SOAP, MSMQ, and FTP.
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Microservices.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as Raven DB.
  • Background in dynamic CRM systems.
  • Experience with BizTalk.
