Medartis seeks a Senior Total Reward Specialist in Switzerland to oversee compensation strategy, incentive plans, and global mobility programs within a hybrid work model.
This mid-level management position is responsible for the end-to-end design, implementation, and administration of the group’s Total Reward framework. The role ensures that compensation strategies align with broader business goals and adhere to industry best practices.
Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and administer both short-term and long-term variable incentive schemes.
- Oversee the accurate execution, communication, and governance of variable compensation structures.
- Deliver analytical insights and reporting on the effectiveness and costs of variable pay programs.
- Develop and maintain the company’s Job Architecture and conduct benchmarking exercises alongside HR.
- Manage international mobility initiatives, ensuring full compliance with payroll, tax, immigration, and employment laws.
- Serve as the main coordinator for mobility activities, liaising with external consultants and vendors.
- Track market trends and regulatory changes to maintain competitiveness and compliance in compensation.
- Lead Total Rewards projects, including process enhancements, system upgrades, and policy updates.
- Support annual compensation planning cycles and associated budgeting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in Finance, Compensation & Benefits, or Total Rewards.
- Strong grasp of compensation principles, financial modeling, and incentive plan design.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data interpretation.
- Fluent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Experience in mid-level management roles.
