Landis+Gyr AG seeks a Senior Compensation Expert in Cham to lead global rewards strategy, manage incentive programs, and ensure pay equity across the organization.
Based at the headquarters in Cham, this position sits within the Global Rewards team. The role is central to defining the company’s worldwide compensation approach and advancing the overall rewards agenda.
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials for the Remuneration Committee and draft the annual compensation report for executive and Board-level pay.
- Administer global base salary cycles, guaranteeing precision, uniformity, and adherence to internal governance standards.
- Design, allocate, and communicate short-term and long-term incentive plans, managing the full lifecycle from structure to payout.
- Maintain the global job architecture and pay structures by overseeing job evaluation and grading activities.
- Analyze external market survey data to benchmark salaries and recommend adjustments for competitive positioning.
- Verify that all compensation practices meet equal pay legal standards to promote fairness and equity.
- Deliver data-backed insights to help the business attract, keep, and reward top talent effectively.
- Partner with senior HR, Finance, and Payroll teams to implement robust compensation solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- Five to seven years of experience in global compensation, preferably within a Swiss listed company.
- Deep knowledge of job evaluation methods, specifically Mercer IPE, and established compensation frameworks.
- Strong analytical capabilities with advanced Excel skills and proficiency in HR platforms like SAP and SuccessFactors.
- Excellent communication abilities to influence and advise senior stakeholders effectively.
- Capacity to handle multiple priorities and resolve complex issues with minimal supervision.
- High degree of integrity, discretion, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Fluent command of the English language.
