Software Engineer

Crypto Finance seeks a Mid-level Software Engineer in Zürich to build secure crypto asset storage solutions using Java and Spring Boot.

This position sits within the storage infrastructure team, focusing on the development and maintenance of a leading B2B digital asset solution. The role operates at the intersection of financial services and blockchain technology, aiming to deliver secure, high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

• Own and secure critical components of the company's crypto asset storage platform.
• Utilize generative AI tools to enhance code quality, development speed, and overall productivity.
• Develop and refine backend services using Spring Boot and modern Java standards.
• Integrate additional blockchain networks while maintaining current integrations.
• Uphold high coding standards established by senior engineering experts.
• Maintain and optimize continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• A degree in computer science or comparable professional experience.
• At least three years of hands-on experience with Java.
• Familiarity with the Spring framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience working with MariaDB or comparable SQL databases.
• Professional-level English communication skills.
• Legal eligibility to work in Switzerland.

Nice to have

• Understanding of RESTful API principles.
• Ability to communicate in German.
• Prior exposure to blockchain concepts or crypto asset ecosystems.
