Solution Consultant - Veeva Safety

Veeva seeks a mid-level Solution Consultant for Veeva Safety in Zurich, Switzerland, to support life sciences companies in transitioning to the Vault Safety platform. The role requires expertise in pharmacovigilance, strong presentation skills, and fluency in German and English, with a remote work model and 20-30% travel within the EU.

This role serves as the key link between complex pharmacovigilance challenges and Veeva’s cloud-based solutions, helping Safety teams move from fragmented legacy systems to the unified Vault Safety platform. As part of a mission-driven public benefit corporation, the consultant supports the sales process by demonstrating how Veeva’s technology accelerates therapy delivery to patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs to design solutions that demonstrate how Vault Safety simplifies end-to-end pharmacovigilance workflows
• Create and deliver customized, value-driven demos and presentations that highlight the benefits of the Veeva Safety Suite
• Leverage industry knowledge to show how Veeva’s tools can replace manual processes and guide clients toward optimal solutions
• Build trusted relationships with pharmacovigilance stakeholders by acting as a credible advisor
• Respond to RFPs/RFIs with solution-focused answers and lead workshops and proof-of-concept sessions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Account Partners and Strategy, to ensure customer success
• Contribute to marketing efforts by recording videos, presenting webinars, and participating in conferences

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry
• Strong understanding of full pharmacovigilance processes including Case Management, Aggregate Reports, Analytics, Safety Signal Detection, Risk Management/RMPs, PSMF Management, and PV-Agreements
• Excellent presentation abilities and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• Interest in cloud/SaaS technology and its applications
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Fluent in both German and English
• Willingness to travel 20-30% within the EU

Nice to have

• Prior experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or other customer-facing roles
• Background in Drug Safety or Pharmacovigilance within pharmaceutical, CRO, or biotech organizations
• Hands-on experience as an end-user or administrator with Veeva products, Vault Safety, or similar safety software
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) or other advanced technical tools
• Technical ability to configure Veeva solutions to meet customer needs
• Multilingual capabilities beyond German and English
