Herzog & de Meuron seeks a Talent Acquisition & HR Manager in Basel to lead strategic recruiting and operational HR tasks for its international offices.
This position merges strategic talent acquisition with day-to-day HR operations within an international architectural firm. The role focuses on attracting global talent, advising executive leadership, and shaping corporate culture while managing the full employee lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Source candidates, review applications, and conduct initial screenings to identify suitable talent.
- Manage the entire candidate journey to ensure a professional and positive experience for all applicants.
- Build and maintain sustainable talent pipelines by engaging potential candidates through multiple channels.
- Advise executives during the hiring process and provide expert input on selection decisions.
- Track industry trends, create new recruiting strategies, and refine HR processes for better efficiency.
- Handle generalist HR duties and support staff and leadership throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Contribute to HR projects and assist in implementing and improving digital HR systems.
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent professional training.
- Several years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or generalist HR roles.
- Native-level proficiency in either German or English, plus at least C1 level proficiency in the other language for both written and spoken communication.
- Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- A strong interest in digital tools and modern HR methodologies.
