Trade Operations Specialist

Bunge seeks a Senior Trade Operations Specialist in Geneva to manage the end-to-end execution of dry bulk commodity contracts across Europe, Asia, and MENA.

This position is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of dry bulk commodity contracts, including seeds and grains. The specialist ensures accurate global trade execution and coordinates complex logistical operations across multiple international regions.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assign new vessels to the appropriate regional offices.
• Manage contractual declarations, including shipment extensions, delivery adjustments, and port notifications.
• Oversee nominations, chartering advice, and the full execution process for dry bulk contracts.
• Coordinate cargo movements, inventory management, and transfer procedures.
• Work with execution offices to prepare and verify trade documentation accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with shared service teams and external partners such as surveyors and insurers.
• Monitor contract performance to ensure adherence to FOSFA standards and internal policies.
• Review and approve invoices, cost records, and insurance documentation.
• Conduct cost analysis and generate reports on executed trades.
• Maintain clear communication with international stakeholders in Europe, Asia, and the MENA region.

Requirements

• At least seven years of direct experience in trade execution for dry bulk commodities, specifically seeds or grains.
• Deep understanding of international trade operations and contractual frameworks, with mandatory knowledge of FOSFA and GAFTA.
• Essential proficiency in using SAP systems.
• Fluent command of the English language.

• Prior experience working in international markets, particularly with exposure to Europe, Asia, or the MENA region.
• Background in oils or related commodity sectors.
• Ability to speak additional languages.
