Account Manager

SIX Group seeks an Account Manager in Zürich to oversee market data licensing for SIX and BME, managing client relationships and driving commercial growth in a dynamic, agile environment.

This position supports the licensing of market data across the SIX and BME legal entities. The role operates within a fast-paced setting dedicated to market data, requiring the incumbent to balance proactive account management with strategic commercial development.

Responsibilities

• Manage existing and prospective clients through proactive, service-focused account management strategies.
• Serve as the main liaison for clients, coordinating with Product, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery and align solutions with business goals.
• Foster long-term, sustainable relationships with key clients.
• Increase revenue by upselling and cross-selling market data services and value-added analytics.
• Support client audits by assisting external auditors in preparing for and executing audit activities.

Requirements

• 3 to 8 years of experience in the financial services sector.
• Strong background in market data, such as experience with data vendors, exchanges, or banks.
• Demonstrated history in account management, sales, or client relationship roles.
• High level of ownership and accountability in daily tasks.
• Fluent proficiency in both German and English, including written and verbal communication.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Spanish or French is considered an advantage.
