Account Technology Strategist Manufacturing

Microsoft seeks a Senior Account Technology Strategist in Zürich to guide leading manufacturers through AI and digital transformation, acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives.

The company is looking for a senior specialist to join its Manufacturing Industry ATU. In this capacity, the individual will partner with top-tier manufacturing firms to accelerate their adoption of artificial intelligence and digital technologies. The role focuses on aligning complex technology investments with high-level business goals, ensuring that strategic outcomes are met through effective technical execution.

Responsibilities

• Guide major manufacturing clients in defining and implementing visions for AI and digital change.
• Establish trusted partnerships with CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and other business leaders to convert business priorities into clear technology roadmaps.
• Facilitate high-level discussions regarding AI, data analytics, security, business applications, modern work tools, and Azure infrastructure.
• Spot potential improvements within engineering, operations, supply chain management, smart factory setups, and sustainability projects.
• Coordinate with Account Executives, Solution Specialists, external partners, and engineering teams to deliver results.
• Act as a sector thought leader, helping clients integrate emerging technologies and speed up their AI transformation efforts.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, combined with significant experience in technology consulting, solution selling, or digital transformation.
• Strong knowledge of the manufacturing sector, including current trends in engineering, operations, supply chains, smart factories, and industrial AI.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end technology solutions, covering AI, data analytics, cloud infrastructure, security, business applications, and modern work platforms.
• Proven ability to influence C-level executives, translate business strategy into technical plans, and lead complex transformation projects.

What the company offers

• An annual base salary range of CHF 154,000.00 to CHF 300,200.00, typical for this position in Switzerland.
