Kandou seeks two Senior Analog Design Engineers in Saint-Sulpice to develop custom analog circuits for its AI memory fabric technology. The role involves full-cycle design, verification, and layout support for advanced nodes.
Positioned within the Advanced Research and Development Department, this role supports the company’s mission to lower the Total Cost of Ownership for AI hardware. Engineers will leverage proprietary MIMO-over-copper technology to build a high-performance, chiplet-based AI memory fabric, contributing to the redefinition of AI infrastructure economics.
Responsibilities
- Create block-level specifications and models for target designs.
- Design, model, and verify custom analog circuits in advanced technology nodes.
- Manage layout development, including floor-planning and guiding layout engineers.
- Perform design verification at various stages, including pre- and post-layout and variation-aware checks.
- Collaborate with design, layout, architecture, and system-level teams.
- Assist in post-silicon lab bring-up, debugging, characterization, and productization.
- Generate progress, analysis, design, modeling, and verification reports.
- Contribute to the development of concept-level architectures and circuits.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design and layout, particularly for high-speed and high-precision applications.
- MSc or PhD in electronics or electrical engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Hands-on experience with modern semiconductor processes, including CMOS 28nm and FinFET 16/14nm or 7nm.
- Proficiency in high-level modeling, top-level simulations, and signal integrity analysis.
- Strong background in signal processing and communications.
