This apprenticeship is part of Biogen’s Quality Control team in Solothurn, designed to provide foundational experience in chemical and pharmaceutical testing. Candidates will engage in analytical work, product quality assessments, and compliance with industry standards, supported by experienced chemists and modern lab equipment.
Responsibilities
- Order and manage laboratory consumables, prepare and handle samples for testing
- Plan, carry out, and document laboratory experiments and procedures
- Test raw materials according to GMP guidelines and document results
- Perform drug product analyses using basic chemistry methods and chromatography
- Conduct environmental monitoring, including testing for total organic content and conductivity
- Support daily lab operations by preparing solutions, reviewing chemical products, and ensuring safety compliance
