Etops Group AG seeks a Business Consultant for Order Management and FIXHub solutions in Freiburg. The role advises clients on trading workflows, connectivity strategies, and system implementation.
The company delivers innovative order management systems and FIX trading connectivity to a diverse client base including brokers, exchanges, and wealth managers. In this position, the consultant acts as a strategic advisor, helping clients align their trading operations with the firm’s technical solutions and ensuring smooth integration from consultation through to post-launch support.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor by analyzing client trading workflows and business needs.
- Offer strategic recommendations on order management systems, execution strategies, and FIX connectivity.
- Collaborate with product and development teams to customize solutions for specific client requirements.
- Oversee the full client lifecycle, including initial consultations, implementation, and post-go-live assistance.
- Perform gap analyses and suggest best practices for adopting OMS and integrating FIX protocols.
- Support client onboarding, configure systems, and resolve technical issues as needed.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and advancements in trading technology.
Requirements
- Business-fluent proficiency in English.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Approximately 2–5 years of experience in consulting, financial services, fintech, software implementation, or other client-facing roles.
Nice to have
- Proficiency in German is advantageous.
- Prior exposure to Order Management Systems (OMS), Execution Management Systems (EMS), or the FIX protocol.
- Understanding of financial markets and trading workflows.
