Consultant, Delivery

Blockstream seeks a Mid-level Consultant, Delivery based in Zurich, CH, to support enterprise clients with solution delivery. The role involves on-site client work, requirements gathering, system configuration, and implementation, with a hybrid work model and travel required.

This client-facing role supports the delivery of business and technology solutions for enterprise and institutional clients. The Consultant operates within the Service & Enterprise Solutions organization, spending significant time on-site at client locations. The position combines functional knowledge with technical aptitude to contribute across the solution delivery lifecycle, working under the guidance of Senior Consultants to deliver client value.

Responsibilities

• Support solution delivery by working on-site at client locations
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements through stakeholder engagement and process analysis
• Assist with implementation tasks including system configuration, testing, and deployment
• Contribute to solution design under guidance from Senior Consultants and Solution Architects
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and solutions meet needs
• Configure and customize systems according to documented requirements and design specifications
• Support user acceptance testing, training, and knowledge transfer activities
• Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with technical teams to resolve them
• Document configurations, processes, and implementation decisions
• Develop understanding of client business operations and technical environments
• Participate in delivery activities across requirements, implementation, testing, and support phases

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in consulting, implementation, business analysis, or technical support roles
• Familiarity with financial services business processes such as banking, payments, or custody
• Technical aptitude to learn system configurations, understand basic integrations, and troubleshoot issues
• Experience with enterprise software or financial systems
• Ability to gather requirements and document business processes
• Willingness and ability to work on-site at client locations with significant travel (3+ days per week)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills to interact with both business users and technical colleagues
• Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work across multiple teams and geographies with high-quality, high-touch customer engagement throughout delivery phases
• Willingness to learn new technologies and business domains
• Language skills: German and English required for Zurich; French and English for Geneva; Italian for Lugano; flexibility based on client assignment
• Location: Switzerland (Zurich, Geneva, or Lugano based on client needs)

Nice to have

• Experience with blockchain, digital asset, or cryptocurrency technologies
• Familiarity with banking systems, core banking platforms, or financial applications
• Basic technical skills in SQL, APIs, or scripting
• Background in professional services or system integration
• Knowledge of custody, payments, or treasury operations
• Interest in advancing to Senior Consultant roles
