Country Manager Division Farm Technologies Austria, Switzerland & Southeast Europe (m/f/d)

GEA Pharma Systems AG seeks a Country Manager for its Farm Technologies division, overseeing Austria, Switzerland, and Southeast Europe from Kirchberg, CH. This senior role combines strategic leadership with full P&L responsibility.

Within this context, the Farm Technologies Division creates smart solutions for agriculture, including milking robotics, automation, and digital systems. This management position leads the country organization for Austria, Switzerland, and Southeast Europe, aligning local strategies with global divisional goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and grow the Farm Technologies team across Austria, Switzerland, and Southeast Europe.
• Provide local market, customer, and country insights to help shape divisional strategies.
• Take full profit and loss responsibility for all sales and service operations in the region.
• Create and execute the country sales strategy in line with the broader division plan.
• Oversee budgeting and manage day-to-day sales and service activities.
• Strengthen and develop the dealer network for Farm Technologies in the region.
• Evaluate the financial viability of small entities versus importer models.
• Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, or a related technical field.
• Extensive international experience in sales, service, and general management, with a focus on country-level sales.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, preferably in an engineering-focused environment.
• Strong grasp of business development and experience managing complex organizational changes.
• Fluency in both German and English.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to guide culturally diverse, international teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of labor law, Health & Safety regulations, and commercial legal procedures.
• Ability to communicate in French.
