Jet Aviation seeks a Facility Coordinator for an 18-month temporary role in Basel. The position focuses on maintaining operational readiness across offices and hangars while serving as the primary liaison for internal stakeholders.
This position ensures that all facility operations run smoothly by managing maintenance schedules and addressing workplace needs. The coordinator acts as the central contact point for employees, operational teams, and other stakeholders to guarantee seamless service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily facility requests for offices, hangars, workshops, and support areas.
- Organize preventive and corrective maintenance to keep facilities ready for operations.
- Supervise external vendors, ensuring they meet service level agreements, safety rules, and prevention plans.
- Share timely updates regarding operational changes, access modifications, and incident resolutions.
- Uphold high standards for cleanliness, safety, and general workplace functionality.
- Assist with KPI tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Collaborate with Facility Management, Health & Safety, Security, and Technical teams to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
- Vocational training, a degree, or at least two years of experience in facility management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- A valid driver's license.
- Fluency in both English and French.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with a structured, accurate, and solution-focused mindset.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems in a fast-paced setting.
- Must reside in the cross-border region.
Nice to have
- German language proficiency.
- Familiarity with Power BI and/or AutoCAD.
- Background in facility services, operations, or aviation/industrial environments.
