McDonald's seeks a Senior HR Business Partner in Crissier to support franchisees and restaurant leadership across German-speaking Switzerland, driving HR strategy and employee experience in a hybrid role.
The company operates over 190 restaurants in Switzerland through independent franchisees. This position strengthens the People Team in Crissier by acting as a trusted advisor to restaurant leaders and internal stakeholders. The role focuses on executing HR strategy, advancing People initiatives, and ensuring a positive employee experience throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance to franchisees and restaurant management on employee relations, talent growth, performance reviews, compliance, and administrative tasks.
- Execute the organization's HR strategy and roll out key People programs across the restaurant network.
- Examine workforce data and HR metrics to spot trends, inform decisions, and address operational needs.
- Manage local and national HR projects, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and successful delivery of business goals.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues and foster a compliant, positive workplace culture.
- Maintain current HR policies, procedures, and documentation to meet legal standards and business needs.
- Conduct training sessions, share effective practices, and enhance people capabilities across the network.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of experience in an HR Business Partner or Consultant role, preferably within multi-site or fast-paced settings.
- Deep understanding of Swiss labor regulations and HR best practices, with a track record of advising leaders, handling employee relations, and leading HR projects.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, coaching, and influencing abilities to build trusted relationships across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Native German proficiency and professional English skills; French and/or Italian are advantageous.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Switzerland to support restaurants and stakeholders.
