Otis SA seeks a Senior HR Business Partner for Switzerland to align HR strategy with business goals, support talent development, and foster an inclusive workplace. The role requires fluency in French and German, strong change management skills, and experience in employee relations and Swiss labor law.
The HR Business Partner supports the Swiss operations by aligning HR strategy with business objectives, driving talent and organizational development, and promoting a positive, inclusive work environment as a strategic advantage.
Responsibilities
- Create a people strategy that supports global and regional business goals.
- Work with business leaders on talent management, organizational structure, workforce planning, and culture initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR centers of excellence and functional HRBPs to implement aligned HR programs and processes.
- Design and execute strategies to attract, develop, and retain diverse talent.
- Own key HR metrics for assigned client groups, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead talent assessments to identify strengths and development needs for critical roles.
- Manage succession planning and talent development to build future leadership pipelines.
- Oversee engagement initiatives, including analysis, communication, feedback, and action planning.
- Guide client groups through key HR cycles such as performance reviews, merit and bonus planning, and talent reviews.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex employee issues and advise managers on discipline and grievances.
- Ensure consistent execution of corporate HR policies and programs with quality and cost efficiency.
- Manage local labor and employee relations to ensure legal compliance.
- Participate in the Swiss leadership team, pension foundation board, and works council.
Requirements
- Ability to co-create and execute HR programs that support business and people strategy.
- Degree or Swiss Federal Certificate in HR (FA im Personalwesen/HR), with deep knowledge of Swiss labor laws, regulations, and HR practices, including experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, or mediation, and familiarity with collective bargaining law.
- Comfortable driving change in a matrix organization and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team orientation, and confident presence when working with people.
- Proficient in MS Office 365 and experienced with Workday.
- Fluency in both French and German is required.
- Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory due to the international work environment.
- Proven expertise in change management and solid understanding of business and financial topics.
