Sentec in Therwil seeks an Intern for Sensor Development to characterize prototypes, analyze data, and help improve sensor performance for respiratory care technology.
This internship focuses on the development and refinement of deep-tech solutions for complex respiratory patients. The position centers on characterizing prototypes, drawing conclusions from experimental data, and proposing strategies to enhance sensor performance within a dedicated research and development environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the team to design experiments that address key questions in product development.
- Construct sensor prototypes and evaluate their operational performance.
- Conduct hands-on work with transcutaneous monitoring systems.
- Gather and analyze experimental data, then present the results to the team.
- Perform careful experimental procedures and thorough data analysis.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering.
- Demonstrated practical experience in 3D printing and building prototypes.
- Willingness to engage in diverse tasks, including laboratory work, documentation, and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Nice to have
- Conversational ability in German.
