IT Support Specialist (Basel, Lab IT, GxP, Pharma, German, English)

Responsibilities

• Provide support for computer systems used in qualification processes, following defined strategies.
• Manage user accounts and assist in deploying new tools.
• Conduct regular system reviews for GMP-compliant systems and perform backups.
• Maintain communication and collaboration with software vendors.
• Document installation procedures and processes.
• Implement IT hardware and infrastructure solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to analytical software and lab PC systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• More than two years of experience in a desk-side IT support role.
• Strong understanding of and motivation for working in regulated (GxP) environments.
• Solid IT technical knowledge.
• Ability to work effectively in a paper-based environment.
• Flexible, team-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
• Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate ideas and outcomes to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Experience working in multinational teams, with cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
• Fluency in both English and German (spoken and written).
• Candidates must provide a criminal record extract no older than three months.
