Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Gilytics seeks a Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to support AWS infrastructure operations in a remote-first, AI-native environment.

This position serves as a key support for the System Engineer, ensuring the stability of Pathfinder’s AWS infrastructure. The role provides practical ownership of cloud tasks and offers a clear trajectory for professional growth within the infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the configuration and deployment of AWS cloud resources
• Help identify and manage vulnerabilities within infrastructure and dependencies
• Monitor system logs and alerts, escalating anomalies as needed
• Participate in infrastructure testing, KPI tracking, and reporting activities
• Study systems and runbooks to serve as a backup for critical incidents

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• Academic background in the architecture and administration of information systems
• Hands-on experience with system administration and Linux environments

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Distributed Software Systems, or similar fields
• Courses or certifications in CI/CD, AWS, cybersecurity, infrastructure as code, or applied AI
