Lead Trade Process Analyst

MET Group seeks a Senior Lead Trade Process Analyst in Baar, CH, to optimize trade lifecycle operations and bridge business needs with technical solutions.

This senior, business-facing position serves as the critical link between operational teams and technology. The role is responsible for owning and enhancing trading processes across the entire trade lifecycle, ensuring efficient end-to-end delivery while driving cross-functional change.

Responsibilities

• Manage business processes throughout the trade lifecycle to ensure correct front-to-back product functionality.
• Partner with business units to assess daily needs, spot process gaps, and define necessary improvements.
• Coordinate the full implementation of new products, covering requirements, impact assessment, functional design, and readiness.
• Plan and execute testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system releases, process changes, and new products.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives across the trade lifecycle.
• Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders and IT, Data Teams, and ETRM Operations.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation and ensure operational knowledge is captured and transferable.
• Support post-implementation reviews to verify that changes deliver intended business outcomes.

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in energy trading operations, trade process analysis, or business analysis within a trading environment.
• Deep understanding of the trade lifecycle front to back (deal capture, validation, risk, scheduling, settlement, invoicing).
• Solid hands-on experience with ETRM systems; Endur experience required.
• Proven track record coordinating new product implementations or cross-functional change end-to-end.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional requirements and workable system solutions.
• Experience with structured testing and UAT coordination.
• Strong stakeholder management; comfortable operating with seniority across Front Office, Operations, Risk, and Finance.
• Self-directed, structured, and able to own topics with limited supervision.
