Fioneer seeks a Pre-Sales / Solution Consultant Lead in Zürich to advise clients on SAP Fioneer’s core and transaction banking solutions. The role involves leading customer engagements, designing tailored solutions, and supporting sales with demos and business cases, with remote work available.
This role serves as the primary technical advisor to prospects and clients, guiding early-stage sales engagements by demonstrating how SAP Fioneer’s solutions align with business goals. It involves collaborating with sales, product, and delivery teams to secure new business by showcasing technology value in core and transaction banking domains.
Responsibilities
- Lead client interactions to assess needs, identify opportunities, and present SAP Fioneer solutions effectively
- Convert complex business requirements into clear, impactful solution designs
- Manage RFIs and RFPs from a solution standpoint, ensuring proposals emphasize value and business outcomes
- Design and deliver customized demos, proof-of-concepts, and workshops for both business and IT audiences
- Develop and present ROI and business case analyses to support client investment decisions
- Persuade bank decision-makers globally by showcasing technically sound, value-driven solutions
- Share market insights with product teams to shape future innovation and product direction
Requirements
- 7+ years in banking technology, software vendor, or consulting roles with pre-sales or solution engineering experience
- Solid knowledge of core and transaction banking operations, including corporate cash management, retail banking, cards, and payments
- History of successfully designing and presenting solutions to C-level and senior executives
- Demonstrated ability to create compelling value propositions and business cases
- Strong communication skills in English; German preferred for DACH region engagements
- Experience with SAP or other core banking systems
