Private Wealth Operations - Trade and Transfer Operations- Senior Analyst

Goldman Sachs, Inc. is hiring a Senior Analyst for Private Wealth Operations - Trade and Transfer Operations in Zürich, CH. The role focuses on client payment due diligence, cash reconciliation, and process improvement within the PWM Business.

This position supports the Private Wealth Management (PWM) Business by managing security transfers, executing client transactions, and participating in global operational projects. The analyst partners with internal teams and external counterparties to ensure efficient service delivery and strengthen the control environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough client payment due diligence to protect client funds from fraud.
• Reconcile incoming client cash and coordinate with Agent Banks to support treasury functions and high-priority client transactions.
• Propose ideas for process development and improvement, demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach.
• Review operational workflows regularly to mitigate risks and enhance the control framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably with exposure to Treasury, Asset Transfers, or Custody services.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate complex topics to diverse internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of German, Spanish, Italian, or French is considered an advantage.
