Resident Manager (m/w/d)

The company seeks a Senior Resident Manager in Lucerne to oversee daily hotel operations, lead staff, and drive sales performance. The role requires hospitality training, managerial experience, and fluency in German and English.

This position serves as the primary operational leader for the hotel, managing all day-to-day processes and acting as the main liaison for both guests and internal teams while representing the property externally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff by demonstrating practical, results-driven leadership
• Foster high levels of motivation and engagement within the team
• Maximize room occupancy through strategic market positioning and distribution channels
• Oversee quotation requests, ensuring timely, fair, and customer-focused responses
• Create and execute market-aligned strategies
• Conduct sales and cost analyses to interpret relevant data
• Maintain regular, constructive communication with senior management

Requirements

• Finished vocational education in the hospitality sector
• Two to three years of hands-on and supervisory experience in a comparable role
• Professional fluency in both German and English

• Background or specialization in Convention Sales
• Proficiency with the Sihot software
