Sales Development Representative - German Speaking

SOPHiA GENETICS seeks a German-speaking Sales Development Representative in Rolle, CH, to drive new business opportunities and support the company's mission in health-tech.

This position operates within a global health-technology firm dedicated to improving outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients by making data-driven medicine more accessible. The role reports to the Senior Manager of EMEA Field Marketing and focuses on expanding the customer base through strategic outreach and lead qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound inquiries and conduct outbound prospecting to create new sales opportunities.
• Identify potential client needs and actively pursue new business avenues.
• Design and execute outreach strategies aimed at attracting prospective buyers.
• Build professional relationships with clients to understand their requirements and assess interest levels.
• Communicate product details to prospects in a way that addresses their specific needs.
• Collaborate with Field Sales Executives to deliver high-quality, qualified leads.

Requirements

• One to three years of experience in inside or volume sales, preferably within technical, scientific, or software sectors.
• Full professional proficiency in both English and German.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with new contacts.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Background knowledge in bioinformatics, genomics, or diagnostic sequencing.
• Additional fluency in French or other European languages.
• Prior experience using CRM or business software platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or ZoomInfo.
