CSEM seeks a Senior Project Manager for quantum technologies in Neuchâtel. The role involves leading complex quantum sensing and atomic clock projects, managing budgets and timelines, and fostering partnerships.

The company is looking for an experienced professional to oversee the execution of advanced quantum sensing and atomic clock initiatives. This position requires balancing industrial and research objectives while ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and schedule targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of multiple quantum sensor projects, ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Identify and resolve technical, resource, financial, or scheduling challenges that arise during project execution.
  • Communicate project outcomes clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in securing new business by drafting proposals and supporting project acquisition efforts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, leading meetings and influencing decisions through effective presentation of results and ideas.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities while promoting the organization's technology portfolio.
  • Represent the organization at industry workshops and conferences.
  • Provide clear leadership and effective communication to project teams and partners, especially during difficult situations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in quantum technologies and identify market trends and customer needs.
  • Contribute to the technical execution of research and development projects focused on miniature quantum sensors or atomic clocks.
  • Act as a representative to external partners and expand professional networks both internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree combined with at least ten years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quantum sensing, time and frequency principles, and their application across other disciplines.
  • Fluency in both English and French.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency in German.
