Sheet Metal Technician

Jet Aviation seeks a Sheet Metal Technician in Basel to repair and modify private and business jets within a dynamic, multicultural team.

This position involves working within a skilled team dedicated to the maintenance and enhancement of private and business aircraft. The role is situated in modern hangars and workshops, offering a dynamic and innovative environment where technicians contribute to the upkeep of high-value assets.

Responsibilities

• Execute repairs, modifications, installations, and replacements of aircraft structures and components.
• Ensure all tasks comply with manufacturer guidelines, including SRM, SB, engineering orders, and repair drawings.
• Keep the workspace and tools clean and in proper working order.
• Actively participate in reducing EHS risks within hangars and workshops.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Technician.
• Background in airframe modifications, repairs, and parts installation or replacement.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and team collaboration abilities.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset to drive projects forward.
• English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Falcon, Gulfstream, Boeing, or Airbus aircraft.
• Skills in fabrication activities such as forming and bending.
• Additional languages beyond English.
