This non-operational board role serves as a strategic partner to the leadership team, guiding the company’s global strategy and ensuring success in delivering transformative therapies. The board member will help shape the company’s growth trajectory, support its mission to address antimicrobial resistance, and contribute to governance, innovation, and long-term sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Offer strategic oversight and guidance on the company’s global strategy and market expansion.
• Help define the company’s growth path and support its mission to deliver life-changing therapies worldwide.
• Advise on innovative technologies, including digital health and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure financial stability and long-term sustainability through governance and risk oversight.
• Provide independent oversight on risk management, compliance, and strategic partnerships.
• Promote a collaborative and pragmatic decision-making culture at the board level.
• Contribute strategic insights on organizational development and market positioning.

Requirements

• Senior executive or board-level experience in pharmaceutical or biotech companies, preferably in anti-infectives or infectious diseases.
• Proven success in clinical development and commercializing therapies in major markets, especially the EU, with expertise in pricing, reimbursement, and payer engagement.
• Leadership experience including full P&L responsibility, licensing, M&A, and strategic alliances with major pharmaceutical companies.
• Strong background in corporate governance, risk management, and experience on audit or strategy committees.
• Collaborative, pragmatic mindset and motivation to address urgent global health challenges.

• Experience in digital health, real-world evidence, or data-driven healthcare approaches.
