Oerlikon seeks a Customer Service Specialist for its Riri Zippers division in Mendrisio, CH. The role focuses on managing order flow, handling customer inquiries, and coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
This position supports the Riri Zippers division at the Mendrisio site by ensuring efficient order processing and maintaining strong communication with customers and internal teams. The specialist acts as a key link between sales, production, and logistics to deliver reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire order process, from initial entry through to delivery and invoicing.
- Address customer questions about pricing, stock levels, delivery delays, and special requests.
- Process claims related to picking mistakes, product damage, or incorrect pricing.
- Collaborate daily with production teams to align on manufacturing and shipping schedules.
- Work closely with R&D to handle product customization needs.
- Partner with the Quality team to resolve issues involving damaged items.
- Organize shipments alongside the logistics department to ensure timely delivery.
Requirements
- Completed commercial education or equivalent training.
- Fluent proficiency in both French and English.
Nice to have
- At least five years of customer service experience in an international setting.
- Background in customer service within the fashion or luxury sector.
- Ability to communicate in German.
- Familiarity with AS400 and SAP systems.
