Payroll and Social Insurance Specialist

The company seeks a Payroll and Social Insurance Specialist in Meyrin, Switzerland, to manage payroll processing, HR administration, and employee support within a dynamic luxury sector environment.

This position supports the HR administration and payroll team by handling payroll operations and administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting that includes prestigious luxury brands. The role requires a strong focus on service quality, confidentiality, and data protection while managing payroll and HR processes.

Responsibilities

• Collect, verify, and enter both fixed and variable payroll data with precision
• Prepare and review all documentation required for payroll processing
• Generate annual tax and salary-related paperwork
• Verify the correctness of all payroll records
• Handle applications and renewals for work permits
• Assist with time tracking tasks, including clock corrections, counter monitoring, and shift planning
• Process family allowance requests, updates, and cancellations
• Validate employee data within the Workday system
• Coordinate and conduct administrative onboarding procedures for new hires
• Issue unemployment, salary, and employment certificates as needed
• Support staff using HR systems such as time management tools, self-service portals, and onboarding/offboarding platforms
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payslips, tax documents, social insurance, tax calendars, and hour balances

Requirements

• Hold a valid Swiss HR certification
• Demonstrate fluent French and working English proficiency
• Exhibit strong expertise in salary administration
• Maintain a high standard of customer service
• Work autonomously in a dynamic environment
• Apply pragmatic prioritization and time management
• Show comfort and accuracy with numerical data
