Amazon Switzerland seeks a Senior Account Manager to lead AWS adoption within the Swiss Public Sector, focusing on strategic executive engagement and cloud solution delivery in Zürich.
This position is dedicated to establishing Amazon Web Services as a primary cloud technology provider for the Swiss Public Sector. The incumbent will engage directly with C-level executives and IT leaders to understand their unique business and technical needs, positioning AWS as the preferred platform for government operations.
Responsibilities
- Build and sustain strategic partnerships with key Public Sector executives.
- Analyze technical and business requirements to position AWS as the optimal cloud solution for core government entities.
- Accelerate the adoption of AWS services to meet specific Public Sector operational needs.
- Coordinate with sales, solutions architecture, and professional services teams to ensure high-quality customer experiences.
- Partner with the ecosystem team to leverage a robust network of AWS partners that support customer priorities.
- Develop and communicate clear value propositions that highlight the benefits of AWS services.
Requirements
- Demonstrated history of managing large-scale Public Sector projects.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales or account management roles.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Prior experience working with cloud technologies.
