Solution Engineer

Gilytics seeks a Solution Engineer to bridge engineering and customer teams, demonstrating Pathfinder’s GIS capabilities through demos, documentation, and technical support in a remote-first environment.

This position serves as the technical link between the company’s engineering and GIS data groups and its customer-facing operations. The incumbent translates the Pathfinder platform’s technical features into practical demonstrations and guidance for prospective and existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Master the Pathfinder solution and its application in various customer scenarios
  • Articulate the platform’s value clearly, aligning features with specific user requirements
  • Build and execute demo projects that highlight Pathfinder’s workflows
  • Create technical documentation and contribute content for sales and marketing collateral
  • Draft technical proposals and responses for public tender requests
  • Deliver technical support, including live assistance to end-users
  • Triage customer technical issues to inform product roadmap prioritization
  • Design and conduct onboarding sessions and training for new clients
  • Conduct comprehensive testing of the solution before releases and client deployments

Requirements

  • Degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geomatics, Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • At least three years of hands-on experience applying GIS to land, environmental, or infrastructure management
  • Minimum of two years in a customer-facing position
  • Proven ability to write technical documentation in English
  • Conversational proficiency in English

Nice to have

  • Background in teaching or delivering technical training
  • Two or more years working with international clients in English-speaking environments
  • Additional language skills such as German or Spanish
